FILM CENTER SARAJEVO LAYOUT DESIGN
The Film Center Sarajevo is at the forefront of film preservation, specializing in the digitalization and restoration of cinematic works. To meet their current requirement, I undertook the design of a comprehensive catalogue intended to highlight their extensive documentary film archive. This catalogue seamlessly integrates over 500 digitalized and restored documentary films, curated into a single, accessible repository.
The catalogue is thoughtfully organized into five distinct categories: Animation, Commercial, Reportage, Propaganda, and Educational, offering a panoramic view of documentary filmmaking of the past 100 years. To navigate this content, I employed a strategic layout that harmoniously unifies all categories while preserving their individual essence. By adopting a system of chronological arrangement and employing a distinctive color scheme for each category, I aimed to enhance the user experience, ensuring both cohesion and distinction.
